This beautiful dam was constructed between years 1959 & 1970 for the purpose of hydroelectric power production. This Daniel-Johnson Dam supplies water to the Manic-5-PA and Manic-5 power houses with capacity of 2,596 MW. The dam is 1,314 m long, 214 m tall and contains nearly 2,200,000 m3 of concrete that makes this dam one of the largest dam in the world.

2. Boise de la Pointe St Gilles: Boise de la Pointe St Gilles is situated in the heart of the city of Baie-Comeau. This Pointe St-Gilles offers 11 kilometers of trails and is dotted with small culverts, Lafontaine fables, wood panels pyrogravés, sculptures and stops.
